Description
Immediate identification of acute coronary syndromes (ACS) is essential to improve outcome in patients with ischemic heart disease. Understanding not only the clinical picture of the acute events, but also their pathophysiology may improve the diagnosis of ACS. Through interactive and realistic animations, Dynamic CAD software helps the user understand the basic concepts behind the evolution of EKG and serum cardiac biomarkers during myocardial ischemia and infarction. Specifically, the user will learn:

• The difference between chronic stable angina and unstable angina.
• The difference between ST-segment elevation and non-ST-segment elevation myocardial infarction.
• The difference between Q-wave and non-Q-wave myocardial infarction.
• The dynamics of T-wave inversion.
